We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us at @oakstop and Regal Cinemas to celebrate Black excellence in film. Your support and enthusiasm made the event truly unforgettable.

A special thank you to our talented filmmakers and all the volunteers who made this event possible. Your contributions helped shine a light on powerful stories and voices.

Special thanks to @bhercdotorg and @Sandra Evers-Manly for Allowing us to organize this event and bringing the S.E. Manly Film Festival to Oakland, it is important to share and magnify these types of events especially in a community that has long been influenced by arts and culture.

The space is awesome and very unique. It blends the artist performance space and tech startup culture with Oakland’s edginess and beauty.

You get the professionalism and capacity to get high level work done but without the pretentiousness and sterileness of a traditional tech work setting. Cost was also pretty reasonable and probably much cheaper than comparable spaces.
